Handmade to Order

All items are individually handmade to order using traditional methods and natural materials. No items are mass-produced or assembly-line manufactured. Each piece is built one at a time by hand, and slight variations are an inherent and expected part of genuine craftsmanship.

Natural Materials

Leather is a natural material and may display characteristics such as grain variation, wrinkles, scars, or other markings developed during the animal’s life. These are not defects but are part of the authenticity and character of real leather goods.

Every effort is made to select high-quality hides and orient patterns thoughtfully; however, it is neither possible nor consistent with traditional leatherworking to eliminate all natural variation.

Craftsmanship & Historical Accuracy

Many items produced are historical reproductions made using period-correct construction methods. As such, minor asymmetries, tool marks, and hand-worked details may be present and reflect authentic manufacturing techniques rather than modern factory precision.

Variations in Handmade Work

Because each item is handmade:

• Stitch lines, stamping depth, and finishing details may vary slightly.

• Exact duplication between orders is not possible.

• Small visual differences do not affect function, durability, or quality.

These characteristics are normal and are part of owning a handmade product.

Approval & Expectations

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts that:

• Handmade items will not have machine-made uniformity.

• Natural leather characteristics and minor variations are expected.

• Requests for remakes based solely on aesthetic preference or natural variation may not be accepted.

Returns & Remakes

If a product arrives with a functional defect or construction error, please make contact within ___ days of delivery so the issue can be evaluated and addressed.

Remakes or refunds are not offered for:

• Natural leather markings

• Normal handmade variation

• Subjective aesthetic preferences

• Characteristics inherent to traditional craftsmanship

Each situation will be handled fairly and in good faith.
